ABOUT
MISSION AND HISTORY
Houston Haven is a non-profit 501c3 ministry dedicated to providing low-cost housing to out-of-town cancer patients and their families undergoing treatment at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Our desire is to LOVE people undergoing cancer treatment by providing a haven for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Jane Nodskov's mother, Patty Holloway, was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2011 and they immediately went to MD Anderson for treatment. While meeting patients from all over the world, Patty would say how thankful she was to live within a few miles of the Texas Medical Center. Patty was brave in her cancer battle and fought to the very end.

In honor of Patty, Houston Haven has provided her townhouse as the first property for Houston Haven to help other families going through cancer treatment at MD Anderson. Houston Haven now has 12 properties all within five miles of the Texas Medical Center, and four garage apartments former families can use for follow-up visits.
